PHII offers a nationally recognized classroom training program for energy auditors at our training center in Madison, South Dakota.  One distinct advantage of this classroom training is that students are provided with PHII's interactive online distance course in advance to help them prepare for the class.

Preparing before the class allows students to ask more thorough questions in class and prevents them from being bogged down learning the introductory material. Instead of spending time on material that can be learned at home, students spend the classroom time diving deeper into testing processes, report writing, and field work.

During this week long training, students receive direct instruction, use the tools and equipment of energy auditors and apply their knowledge in actual houses. Students also have access to classroom computers during the training in order to complete assignments, testing, and inspection reports. No other school offers PHII's style of hybrid learning that allows each student to progress at his or her own pace and receive hands-on, face to face instruction.  In this system, no one is left behind.
